William Paul "WP" Osborne

Mr. William Paul "WP" Osborne age 90 of Dallas passed away Monday January 4, 2010 at Wellstar Cobb Hospital. Mr. Osborne was born January 24, 1919 the son of the late Larry Patterson Osborne and Lena Maddox Osborne of Atlanta, Ga.

 

 

 

Mr. Osborne was a veteran of the United States Navy and served his country proudly in WWII. After the war, he worked for Emory University as a maintenance worker. His hobbies included playing with his dogs and fishing.

 

 

 

Mr. Osborne is survived by his daughter Ms. Vonda Cole of Dallas, Ga; Sons Mr. Marvin (Angeline) Osborne of Villa Rica, Ga, Mr. J. Wayne Osborne of Douglasville, Ga, and Mr. Raymond (Nancy) Osborne of Dallas, Ga, and many other beloved relatives which include his siblings, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

 

 

 

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years Mrs. Opal Gemay Parson Osborne and his son, Mr. Donald Rostie Osborne.

 

 

 

Funeral services for Mr. Osborne will be held Wednesday January 6, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of the Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home with the Reverend Thomas Cole officiating. Music will be provided by Jeff Eberhart. Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 from 4-9 PM.

 

 

 

Pall Bearers Include: Paul Mitchell, Rusty Cole, Daniel Sexton, Garrett Osborne, and Corey Osborne, Andrew Hunter.
