Funeral Director Posted December 29, 2009 Report Share Posted December 29, 2009 (edited) Mrs. Barbara Nell Meeler age 77 of Dallas Georgia passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Meeler was born on August 14, 1932 in Dallas Ga, the daughter of the late Leonard Cooper and Laverne McClung. She was a member of New Canaan Baptist Church. She loved watching Soap Operas, shopping and spending time with family and friends. Mrs. Meeler is survived by her loving husband of 55 years Mr. Ralph Edward Meeler of Dallas, Ga; 3 daughters Mr. & Mrs. Wade (Connie) Hannah of Taylorsville, Ga; Mr. & Mrs. David (Edwena) Connell of Dallas, Ga; Mr. & Mrs. Chris (Lesa) Adams of Rydel, Ga; 1 brother Reverend & Mrs. Wendell (Maxine) Cooper of Temple, Ga; 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; 1 niece Cindy Atcheson of Temple, Ga; 1 nephew Mr. & Mrs. Vernon (Debra) Cooper of Villa Rica, Ga; as well as many other beloved family members and friends. Mrs. Meeler was preceeded in death by her beloved parents and her daughter Rhonda Reeves. Funeral services for Mrs. Meeler will be held on Thursday, December 31 at 3 PM in the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home with the Reverends James Cook, William James Cook, Wendell Cooper officiating and special speaker Reverend Chad Cooper. Music will be provided by Rene Hill. Pallbearers include Keith Craton, Ralph Hannah, Christopher Hannah, Phillip Mayes, Jeff Mayes, and Vernon Cooper. Interment will follow at the Dallas Memory Gardens. Mrs. Meeler will remain at Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Wednesday, December 30, 2009 from 2 PM - 9 PM.
