Funeral Services for Mr. George O'Brien Gilmer, age 77, of Dallas, Ga. will be held Saturday, December 26, 2009, 2:00 P.M. at Benson Funeral Home Chapel.

Mr. Gilmer's family will receive friends on Saturday, December 26, 2009, 11:00 A.M.-2:00 P.M.

 

Interment will follow at Paulding Memorial Gardens.

 

Mr. Gilmer is survived by: Wife, Mrs. Margie Faye Gilmer of Dallas, Ga.; Daughter, Mrs. Barbara Jane Gilmer; Granddaughter, Mrs. Leslie Greene Thackston of Dallas, Ga.; Step Son, Mr. and Mrs. Randy Mike (Debra) Thompson of Dallas, Ga., Mr. Harold Thompson of Dallas, Ga. of Dallas, Ga.; Step Daughters, Mrs. Teresa Cole of Dallas, Ga. and Mr. and Mrs. Billy (Martha) Siskey of Rockmart, Ga.; Numerous Step Grandchildren; Sister, Mr. and Mrs. Jack (Carolyn) Rackley of Dallas, Ga., Mrs. Lois Gilmer and Mr. and Mrs. Douglas (Virginia) Shelton of Dallas, Ga.; Nieces and Nephews.

 

Mr. Gilmer was preceded in death by: Wife, Mrs. Norma Christine Gilmer; Parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles O'Brien (Mary Elizabeth Forsyth) Gilmer; Brother, Mr. Charles Gilmer
