Ms. Virginia T. Caldwell age 80 of Acworth, Ga. passed away at Wellstar Cobb Hospital on Thursday October 8, 2009. Ms. Caldwell was born in Gwinnett, Georgia on October 2, 1929 the daughter of the late John Levi Thompson and Cordelia Johnson Thompson. She was previously employed as a nursing assistant, but she loved being a homemaker..

 

 

 

Ms. Virginia T. Caldwell was survived by her daughter and son in law, Junior (Laura) Freeman of Acworth, Ga., 2 sons Edward Michael Caldwell and Jesse William Caldwell both of Atlanta, Ga.; grandchildren, and great grandchildren; and 1 sister, Margie Morgan of Kennesaw, Ga. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, John Levi Thompson and Cordelia Johnson Thompson; and her beloved sister Lucille Marlene Gaddis.

 

 

 

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday October 12, 2009 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home with Junior Freeman and Harley Freeman officiating. Music will be provided by Leslie Freeman and Jeff Eberhart. Pall Bearers will include Harley Freeman, Sammy Burgess, Shayne Newton, Bobby Wilson, Marshall Dodd and Joe Nix. Interment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park.

 

 

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday October 10, 2009 from 1 PM to 9 PM, Sunday October 11, 2009 from 9 AM to 9 PM and Monday from 9 AM until the service begins at 11 AM.
