For over 30 years I have been restoring old photographs from all kinds of damage. Water and flood, fires .bug and rodent damage, and just plane old and faded, I have seen and worked with it all.

 

I have not been in your situation but I know the importance of saving your old photos that have been wet by the recent flood in Paulding, Cobb, and surrounding counties in North West Georgia.

 

Many times the salvage of these old memories is easier than you think. They don't look like much in a wet photo album but if we can get to them before they dry, most times they can be rescued from being stuck together and thrown into the trash.

 

You can buy new clothes and furnishings but most old photos can not be purchased again.
