Mary Ester Smith, age 63, of Cartersville, passed away on Saturday, September 05, 2009. She was born on, January 08, 1946, in Atlanta, GA, and was preceded in death by her father, Early Jones.

 

Survivors include, daughters and son-in-law, Pam Voyles of Douglasville, Wannita & Robert Arnell of Whitesburg, and Judia Smith of Barnesville; son, Michael Smith of Whitesburg; mother, Mary Frances Jones of Dallas; brothers, William E. Jones of Douglasville, and James Charles of Mableton, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

 

Graveside services will be held on Sunday, September 06, 2009, at 3 p.m., from New Canaan Church Cemetery, with Reverend Phil Moore officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:30 p.m. until service time.
