Funeral Services for Mrs. Ruth Laird Stubbs, age 89, of Hiram, Ga. will be held Tuesday,

September 1, 2009, 3:00 P.M. at Benson Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Paulding Memorial Gardens.

 

Visitation for Mrs. Stubbs will be held Monday, August 31, 2009, 7:00-9:00 P.M.

and Tuesday until the time of service.

 

Mrs. Stubbs is survived by: Sons, Mr. Terry Stubbs of Hiram, Ga. and Mr. Ed Stubbs of Hiram, Ga.;

Sister, Ms. Eleanor Laird of Hiram, Ga.; Grandchildren, Mr. and Mrs. Wes (Lori Beth) Stubbs,

Mr. and Mrs. Blake (Tabitha) Stubbs, Mr. Devon Stubbs, Mr. Kyle Stubbs, Mr. Ben Stubbs,

Mr. Ross Stubbs and Ms. Addie Stubbs; Great Grandchild, Ms. Kadence Stubbs;

Several Neices and Nephews.

 

Mrs. Stubbs was preceded in death by: Husband, Mr. Edward Stubbs; Parents,

Mr. and Mrs. Paul (Essie) Laird; Brother, Mr. James Laird; Sister, Mrs. Norma Ashe.

I just called mother to let her know. She and daddy were with Ruth and Ed Sr on vacation when Ed Sr died. Daddy and Ed Sr worked together for many years!
