High Country Stables offers schools, churches and other associations a great opportunity to bring their groups out to a family friendly, affordable and close in to Atlanta horse farm to let the kids experience and learn about farm life. From Peanut the miniature pot bellied pig, to the great Blue Heron in the lake and all the animals in between, High Country Stables offers a unique view into our outside world lots of children just don't see enough of! Many kids today have never felt or ridden on a horse. Lots don't know where eggs come from! We teach them at High Country Stables why the farms and animals are important! Just a simple walk around the lake on our nature trail offers the opportunity to see beavers, herons, turtles, geese, wood ducks, and deer. We have hosted many school groups and children of all ages who visit us to learn as much as they can about our farm animals and have a lot of fun at the stables. For 7 years High Country Stables has been the favorite for fun days, week long campers, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, School and Church groups and more. We have worked very hard to provide the best and most affordable place to bring the kids anywhere around! High Country Stables is THE place to visit for your field trip because we are: Lovable!
