Mrs. Doris Defnall Simpson Age 64 of Dallas,Georgia passed away Saturday July 11, 2009.

at Wellstar Tranquility Hospice. She was born the daughter of the Late Ina Lou Smith Defnall & Charles Eugene Defnall on May 22, 1945 in Douglas County Georgia. She was of the Baptist Faith attending Sunset Hills Baptist Church. Doris loved to travel and was a Grandmama to many little ones.

 

She is Survived By: Son: Cleon (Crista) Simpson of .

 

Grandchildren: Lindsey and Josh Simpson of Breman, GA.

 

Brothers: Robert (Annette) Defnall of Douglasville, Gray Defnall of Douglasville.

 

Sister: Linda (James) Mezick of Douglasville, Cathy Thomas of Douglasville.

 

Several nieces and nephews and many beloved friends.

 

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday July 14, 2009 at 1pm from the Chapel of the Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home with Pastor Steven Williams Officiating. Music Provided by Jeff Eberhart. Interment will follow in the Paulding Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Monday July 13, 2009 from 4pm to 9pm.

 

Mrs. Simpson is preceded in death by Daughter: Leigh Ann Simpson. Sister: Mercie

Pall Bearers include Kenneth Mezick, Jeff Mezick, Justin Mezick, Dusty Defnall, Charles Defnall, Scott Thomas and Keith Tyson; Honorary Pallbearers Include: Brandon Tyson, Colby Defnall, Austin Thomas, Andrew Mullins and Alex Mullins. Pall Bearers are asked to be at the Funeral Home by 12 noon on Tuesday July 14, 2009.
