Clark Funeral Home Posted June 19, 2009 Report Share Posted June 19, 2009 William “Owen” Roberts, age 56, of Buchanan, GA, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2009. He was born in Paulding County, May 6, 1953, the son of the late, W. B. & Thelma Roberts. Mr. Roberts enjoyed life and was a very caring person. His favorite song was “Don’t Worry Be Happy”. He was a member of White Oak Springs Baptist Church. Survivors include his brother, Doyle Roberts of Temple; sisters & brothers-in-law, Martha & Bill Rich of Dallas, Linda Bullock & Roger Matthews of Powder Springs, Wendy & Ray Crider of Powder Springs, and Ann & Kenny Jones of Temple; many nieces and nephews; and extended family at Pathway’s Center in Carrollton. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 21, 2009, at 2:00 pm, from Clark Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Johnny Simpson and Reverend Jeff Byrd officiating. Interment will follow in White Oak Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, with Tony Rich, Brian Potts, Dennis Bullock, Slaton Crider, Jeremy Roberts, Joshua Jones and Blake Jones serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
