Janice LaFaye Moody, age 51, of Dallas, passed away on May 16, 2009. She was born on October 31, 1957, in Ludowici, GA, to the late Mr. Charles and Velma Clayton, and was preceded in death by her brother, Lavar Clayton, and special uncle, Perry Wright. Mrs. Moody worked as a Property Manger and was a member of Cochran Ridge Baptist Church.

 

Survivors include, husband, Clyde Moody of Dallas; son and daughter-in-law, Dallas & Ivey Gordon of Canton; daughter and son-in-law, Cherease & Brian Kincaid of Covington, GA; brothers, Lavette Clayton of Dallas, and Joey Wright of Richmond Hill, GA; sisters, Laverne Rawson of Clyo, GA, Brenda Clayton of Cartersville, Phyllis Stevens of Seneca, South Carolina, Barbara Loveless of Chatsworth, GA, Van Reid of Pooler, GA, and Kandi Padgett of Monroe, North Carolina; stepchildren, Tammy & Joel Kell of Dallas, Charlene & Billy Graves of Jackson, Mississippi, Clayton & Robbi Moody of Hiram, Clyde & Kelly Moody of Dallas, and Dwayne Moody of Mableton; special aunt, Marinell Wright; grandchildren, Dalton Saxon, Braden Kincaid, Presley Gordon, Rease Kincaid and Parker Gordon; 4 great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

 

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2009, at 11 a.m., from Cochran Ridge Baptist Church, with Brother Ricky Eaves officiating. Interment will follow in Cochran Ridge Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA, is in charge of arrangements. www.samclarkfuneralhome.com
