Funeral Services for Mr. Gerald Whitman, age 56, of Dallas, Ga will be held Sunday, May 17, 2009, 5:00 P.M. at Benson Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Dallas Memory Garden.

 

Visitation for Mr. Whitman will be held Saturday, May 16, 2009, 5:00-8:00 P.M. and Sunday until time of service.

 

Mr. Whitman is survived by: Wife, Mrs. Dixie Whitman of Dallas, Ga.;

Sons, Mr. and Mrs. Josh (Angela) Whitman of Temple, Ga. and Mr. Jacob Carter of Dallas, Ga.; Daughter, Mr. & Mrs. Tony (Mandy) McGee of Dallas, Ga. and Amber Carter of Dallas, Ga.; Grandchildren, Landen Whitman, Kaitlyn McGee and John McGee; Sisters, Mrs. Marcia Swan of Rockmart, Ga., Mr. and Mrs. Dean (Becky) Presley of Rockmart, Ga., Mrs. Sherry Schmelzer of Ellijay, Ga.; Sister-in-Law, Mr. and Mrs. Russell (Joan) Moss of Dallas, Ga.; Brother-in-Laws, Mr. and Mrs. Ricky (Susan) Butler of Acworth, Ga. and Mr. and Mrs. Gary (Nancy) Butler of Covington, Ga.

 

Mr. Whitman was preceded in death by: Parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Preston (Sarah Pauline Causey) Whitman.
