Jane Marie McHatten, age 64, of Rockmart, GA (Paulding County), passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2009. She was born October 12, 1944, in Litchfield, CT, to the late, Howard C. & Rita Mae Murphy.

Mrs. McHatten was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband, T. C. McHatten; son & daughter-in-law, David & Pamela McHatten of Rockmart, GA; daughters & sons-in-law, Rita Mae & David Carl Macintire of Stoughton, WI, Cynthia Nelson of Dallas, GA, Lora Jane & Andrew Carter of Dallas, GA, and Roberta Ann Jensen of Buford, GA; brother & sister-in-law, Fred Murphy of CT and Christopher Allen Murphy & Karen of New Milford, CT; sisters, Bonnie Murphy of New Milford, CT and Mary Ann Murphy of ME; eleven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 15, 2009, at 12:00 noon, from St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with Father Adrian Pleus officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to, St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church Building Fund, 680 W. Memorial Drive, Dallas, GA 30132.
