Mrs. Vernelle Lindsey

Mrs. Vernelle Pace Lindsey age 88, of Union City Georgia passed away May 3, 2009 at Southwest Christian Care.

 

Mrs. Lindsey was born on September 24, 1920 in Paulding County, Ga to her late parents William Oscar Pace and Bessie Wood Pace. She worked as a seamstress for many years. Mrs. Lindsey was a loving mother and wife.

 

Mrs. Lindsey is survived by one daughter and son-in-law: Jane Lindsey of Union City, Ga; Carl Johns of Atlanta, Ga, brother-in-law: James and Audranell Lindsey of Leesburg, Al; sister-in-law: Ruth Cannon of Douglasville, Ga; two grandchildren: Lin Johns and Mark Johns; Five Great Grandchildren: Brian Johns, Kyle Johns, Lauren Johns, Tyler Johns and Abby Johns.

 

Mrs. Lindsey is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph"Joe"Lindsey who passed away on November 6, 2007 and a daughter Patsy Johns whom passed away December 2008.

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Lindsey will be held at the Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday May 6, 2009 at 2:00pm with Rev. Keith Davenport officiating and Eulogy delivered by Brian Johns. Music will be provided by Jeff Eberhart and Kyle Johns. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.

 

Mrs. Lindsey will remain at Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home where family will receive friends Tuesday, May 5, 2009 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm and again on Wednesday from 9:00am until the time of the service at 2:00pm.

 

Pallbearers are asked to meet at the funeral home on Wednesday by 1:15pm and they include: Lin Johns, Mark Johns, Brian Johns, Kyle Johns, Tyler Johns and Bobby Lane.

 

 

The Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Vernelle Lindsey.
