Mrs. Susie J. Horner

Mrs. Susie J Horner age 76 of Dallas passed away Saturday May 2, 2009 at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta GA. Mrs. Horner was born June 15, 1932 to in Moodyville, TN. The daughter of the late Pansy Moody Hill and Grover Hill. She was a Member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. Mrs. Horner was a Retired Paulding County School Teacher teaching in the New Georgia Community. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and The Retired Teachers Organization.

 

Mrs. Horner is survived by her husband James Edward Horner, Sr. whom she was married to for 51 years. Two Sons: Mr. James Edward (Janet) Horner, Jr. of Mongolia & Mr. David Scott Horner of Douglasville, Ga; Two Brothers: Tommy Hill of Dayton, OH and Willard Hill of Moodyville, TN.

 

Four Sisters: Dee Perrin of Dayton OH; Valda Manus of Dayton OH; Voslane Swallie of Union OH; and Van Hood of Phoenix, AZ; Five Grandchildren, Many Nieces and Nephews.

 

Funeral Services for Mrs. Horner will be held at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Byrdstown, Tn on Wednesday May 6, 2009 at 2p.m. Interment will follow in the Moody Cemetery in Moodyville Tn.
