Dorothy Roberts, age 77, of Hiram, passed away on Saturday, April 04, 2009. She was born on August 15, 1931, in Andrews, SC., and was preceded in death by her daughter, Joyce Loretta Stevens, mother, Bessie Mae Swails, and father, Henry Lee Swails.

 

Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Kyld Roberts of Hiram; daughter, Victoria Lynn Roberts of Hiram; sister and brother-in-law, Juanita & Eddie Howards of North Carolina; 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 6, 2009, at 2 p.m., from Clark Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Daniel Hicks, Brother Champ Agan, and Brother Lamar Rackley officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, April 5, 2009, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.
