Mr. Grady William Womack Jr. age 79, of Dallas, Georgia passed away Monday March 30, 2009 at Tanner Medical Center.

 

Mr. Womack was born on October 14, 1929 in Polk County Georgia to his late parents Grady William Womack Sr. and Netti Waldrop Womack. He was of Baptist Faith. Mr. Womack honorably served in the United States Army. He was employed for many years as a Tile Setter in the construction industry. He was a loving Father and Husband.

 

Mr. Womack is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carolyn Womack of Dallas, Ga; sons and daughter-in-laws: Gary and Cheryl Womack of Dallas, Ga, Stanley Womack of Dallas, Ga, daughter and son-in-law: Johnny and Sherry Summers of Dallas, Ga; Teresa Fuller of Dallas, Ga; Grandchildren: Duane Womack of Dallas, Ga, Jared Womack of Dallas, Ga, Lisa and Donnie Melton of Cedar Bluff, Al, Marty Manous of Dallas, Ga, Nicholas McLendon of Dallas, Ga, Brittany Brooks and Todd Lee of Dallas, Ga, Tiffany and Bo Burleson of Dallas, Ga, and Kerrie and Shawn Hitt of Dallas, Ga; eight Great grandchildren; Sisters: Jeanette Benson of Dallas, Ga and Jackie Womack of Dallas, Ga, Mary Sue Woodard of Mableton ,Ga, Gloria Smith of Marietta, Ga; Brother: Johnny Womack of Temple, Ga.

 

Mr. Womack will remain at the Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home where his family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 from 5:00pm-8:00pm and again Wednesday from 9am until the time of the service at 12:00pm.

 

Funeral Services will be held at the Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday April 1, 2009 at 12:00pm with Pastor Dennis McCoy officiating. Music will be provided by Jeff Eberhart. Interment will follow the service in Mt. Olivet Church Cemetery.

 

Pallbearers are asked to meet at the Funeral Home on Tuesday no later than 11:15am and they include: Jeff Benson, Bo Burleson, Todd Lee, Dwight Nalley, Marty Manous and Johnny Summers.
