mustang06 Posted March 23, 2009 Report Share Posted March 23, 2009 Did you know that stains can be permanently set in your carpet if you try to clean them with the wrong product or method? Stains such as Kool Aid, Red Wine or any other drinks with color should only be blotted up with a clean white cloth. Never try to use over the counter chemicals that claims to remove these kinds of stains. These chemicals must be flushed out with clean water immediately and if not can remove the color from your carpet when professionally cleaned. Best solution is to blot up as much of the spill as possible and then call a professional to remove what is left. Link to post Share on other sites
