Mr. Wayne Coalson age 75 of Rockmart, Ga passed away on March 20, 2009 at Kindred Hospital in Atlanta, Ga

 

Mr. Coalson was born on October 4, 1933 in Haralson County to his late parents Thomas Allen Coalson and Jamie Whitfield Coalson. He honorably served inthe United States Navy. Mr. Coalson worked for many years on the assembly line for General Motors. He attended Holly Springs Baptist Church.

 

Mr. Coalson is survived by a Daughter: Karen Washington of Rockmart, Ga; Son: Eric Coalson of Rockmart, Ga; Grandson: Marty Defoor of Dallas, Ga; Great Grandchild: Alexis Defoor of Temple, Ga; Sister: Edna Miller of Rockmart, Ga; Many nieces & nephews and many other beloved family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife who passed away in 2006: Joyce Lavern Cohran Coalson; Son: Little Barry Wayne Coalson. Funeal Services for Mr. Coalson will be held Monday March 23, 2009 at 11 am in the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home with Reverend Steve Thomas officiating. Eulogy by Jeff Eberhart. Music "I'll Fly Away" ; "Amazing Grace" by Jeff Eberhart. Interment will follow the service at Beulahland Baptist Church Cemetery.

 

Pall Bearers: Lyn George, Jeff Hutcheson, Kevin Hammons, Junior Coalson, Eric Coalson. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 4pm until 9pm and on Monday from 8am until the service begins at 11.
