Mrs. Retha Arbogast Godfrey

Funeral Services for Mrs. Retha Arbogast Godfrey, age 66, of Cedar Bluff, Al., will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2009, 1:00 P.M. at Benson Funeral Home. Pastor Rita Wright will officiate.

Mrs. Godfrey's family will receive friends on Friday, March 13, 2009, 5:00-9:00 P.M. and Saturday unitl time of service at 1:00 P.M.

 

Mrs. Godfrey's remains will be cremated following the services.

 

Mrs. Godfrey is survived by: Son, Mr. Edmond Crabtree, Jr. of Murfreesboro, Tn.; Daughter, Mrs. Paula Taylor of Smyrna, Ga.; Grandchildren, Brooke Taylor, Chris Taylor and Eddie Crabtree; Sisters, Mr. and Mrs. John (Sheila) Cole of Tyler, Tx., Mr. and Mrs. Jackie (Sharon) White of Dallas, Ga., Mr. and Mrs. Sam (Joyce) Lilly of Glen Farris, West Virginia, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene (Sylvia) Bird of Glen Farris, West Virginia, Mr. and Mrs. Allen (Pam) Hess of Huntington, West Virginia, Mr. and Mrs. Tim (Reba Mary) Cooper of Anstad, West Virginia; Brother, Mr. and Mrs. George (Dale) Arbogast of Aberdeen, North Carolina; Mother in Law, Mr. and Mrs. John (Helen) Dickson; Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

 

Mrs. Godfrey was preceded in death by: Husband, Mr. James Anthony Godfrey; Parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walcie Alman (Elsie Morris)Arbogast; Brother, Mr. Wally Arbogast; Nephew, Mr. Gene Bird.
