Funeral Director Posted March 12, 2009 Report Share Posted March 12, 2009 Mr. Paul Kenneth Laitinen age 64 of Dallas, Georgia passed away March 12, 2009. Mr. Laitinen was born on October 19, 1944 in South Paris, Maine to his late parents Paavo Laitinen and Katri Heikkinen Laitinen. He proudly served in the United States Army during Vietnam. Mr. Laitinen graduated top of his class in Army Signal Corps Training. He was of Baptist faith and attended First Baptist Church of Dallas. Mr. Laitinen is survived by his wife of 13 years: Judy Laitinen of Dallas, Ga; Daughter and son-in-law: Jolie and Trent Palmer of North Augusta, South Carolina; Granddaughter: Avery Shapiro of North Augusta, South Carolina; Father and Mother-in-law: Neal and Louise Black of Dallas, Ga. He is preceded in death by both parents and a sister: Estelle Mosher. The Family of Mr. Laitinen will receive friends Friday March 13, 2009 at Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home from 6pm-8pm and again on Saturday 9am until the time of service. Funeral Services for Mr. Laitinen will be held at the Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home Chapel in Dallas, Ga Saturday March 14, 2009 at 2pm with Dr. Greg Potts officiating. Eulogy will be read by Ray Cole and Sam Ragsdale. Music will be provided by Jeff Eberhart and Becky Bearden. Interment will follow at Dallas Memory Gardens. Pallbearers are asked to meet at the funeral home Saturday by 1:15pm and they include: Jimmy Camp, Trent Palmer, Charles Neal Black, Aaron Black, Ray Cole and Chuck Burke. The Men's Sunday School Class of First Baptist Church of Dallas will serve as honorary pallbearers. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Mr. Paul Kenneth Laitinen to: First Baptist Church of Dallas Building Fund 401 Main Street Dallas, Ga 30132 The Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home of Dallas, Ga has charge of the Funeral arrangements for Mr. Paul Kenneth Laitinen. 770-445-4496 Link to post Share on other sites
