Clark Funeral Home Posted March 8, 2009 Report Share Posted March 8, 2009 Joyce Bishop Ridley, age 70, of Powder Springs, passed away on Saturday, March 07, 2009. She was born on September 5, 1938, in Marietta, to the late Robert & Essie Bishop. She was preceded in death by her grandchild, Ransom Tipton. Mrs. Ridley retired from Lockheed with 45 years of service and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Survivors include her son, Gary Ridley of Washington, DC; daughters, Cathy Robinson of Powder Springs, and Faith Tipton Smith of Waleska, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Lamar & Emily Bishop of Marietta, Murl & Jane Bishop of Powder Springs, and Earl Bishop of Charlottesville, VA; grandchildren, Brandon Robinson of Powder Springs, Jennifer Robinson of Powder Springs, Melissa Tipton of Waleska, GA and Emily Smith of Waleska, GA; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2009, at 2 p.m., from Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, with Reverend Quin Evans officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Link to post Share on other sites
