Mrs. Gaynell Matthews age 81 of Smyrna; Beloved Mother and Grandmother, Great Grandmother passed away suddenly Friday February 27, 2009 at Emory Crawford long Hospital.

 

Mrs. Matthews was born April 23, 1927 in Paulding County Ga, the daughter of the late Nora Wilkins Hall and Roy Hall. She was a member of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Daniel Matthews.

 

She is survived by Two sons, Perry (Cathy) Matthews of Douglasville, GA; Randall (Amy) Matthews of Lakeland, Florida; One Daughter Teresa (Larry) Worhol of Katy, Texas

 

One brother: Lamar Hall of Dallas, GA ; Three Sisters: Frances Griffin of Dallas, GA; Evelyn Cook of Marietta, GA; Sylvia Feeser of Jasper, GA; Three Grandchildren: Jason Matthews; Stacey Carter; & Ashley Worhol; One Great Granddaughter: Kylie Matthews. Many other family members and friends

 

Funeral Services for Mrs. Matthews will be Held Monday March 2, 2009 at 3p.m. from the chapel of The Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home with Jeff Eberhart officiating & Special Poetry by Ashley Worhol.

 

Interment will follow in The Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery.

 

Mrs. Matthews will remain at Jeff Eberhart Funeral home where the family will receive friends Sunday March 1, 2009 from 4 till 9 p.m. & Monday from 9:00A.M. till the time of the service.
