Clark Funeral Home Posted February 16, 2009 Report Share Posted February 16, 2009 Darrell Wayne Savage, age 50, of Powder Springs, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2009. He was born June 6, 1958, in Atlanta, GA and was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Savage. He worked for 30 years, for Tech Systems, where they established the “Doc Savage Award”, an employee award, in his honor. Survivors include his wife, Susan Leigh Savage; mother, Gladys Gant of Powder Springs; daughter, Patricia Leigh Savage of Powder Springs; brother, Danny Savage of Dallas; sister & brother-in-law, Denise & John Roberts of Hiram; many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2009, at 2:00 pm, from Corner Baptist Church, 5165 Macland Road, Powder Springs, GA, with Rev. Tommy Paine and Rev. Glen Townsend officiating. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established at the Bank of America in Powder Springs.
