Sammy Clinton House, age 73, of Dallas, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2009. He was born in Carrollton, on September 11, 1935, and was preceded in death by his parents, Sam E. & Annie Mae House and a daughter, Melissa House. Mr. House was a U. S. Army veteran and he was the owner and operator of Sambo’s Grocery in Dallas.

Survivors include his daughter & son-in-law, Susan & Dennis Harville of Lithia Springs; grandchildren, Steven House of Lithia Springs, Dennis Harville, Jr. of Lithia Springs, Kelsey Harville of Lithia Springs, Joyce Bishop of Hiram, Melanie Harville of Washington, and Melissa Gifford of Florida; and a niece, Stacey Chancey.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2009, at 11:00am, from Clark Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Kenneth Hennesy officiating. The interment will be private. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.

Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA, is in charge of arrangements.
