Clark Funeral Home Posted December 3, 2008 Report Share Posted December 3, 2008 Sara Frances Irwin, age 83, of Mableton, GA, passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2008. She was born November 1, 1925 in Atlanta, and was preceded in death by her parents, Dixie Henry Mangum & Winnie Davis Mangum, and her husband, Milton Calhoun Irwin, II. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her sons & daughter-in-law, David & Diane Irwin of Hiram, and Milton Calhoun Irwin, III of Mableton; daughter & son-in-law, Wanda & Terry Byess of Mableton; sister & brother-in-law, Marianna & Gayle McClesky of Alpharetta; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 5, 2008, at 11:00am, from Clark Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Brian Bloye officiating. Interment will follow in College Park Cemetery. Allen Irwin, Matt Irwin, Buddy Walters, Jonathan Morris, Frank Lamas, and Argo Lamas will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00pm until 6:00pm.
