Mrs. Jane Wilson Matthews age 62 of Dallas Georgia, passed away Tuesday October 14, 2008 at her residence.

 

Mrs. Matthews was born May 12, 1946 in Paulding County Ga, the daughter of Lillie S. Wilson and the late John Wilson. She was a loving mother and devoted wife. Mrs. Matthews was employed by the Paulding neighbor and Alterman Foods. In her spare time Mrs. Matthews enjoyed doing crafts, painting, cooking and gardening. She was a member of Concord Baptist Church.

 

Mrs. Matthews is survived by daughter and son-in-law: Jill and Ronnie Cohran of Muscadine Al; three sons and daughters-in-laws: Daren and Penny Matthews of Dallas Ga, Jeff and Tracy Matthews of Dallas Ga, Jon and Regina Matthews of Yorkville Ga; ten grandchildren: Danny Cohran, Steven Swan, Jonathan Matthews, Kara Matthews, Crystal Matthews, Taylor Matthews, Kelly Matthews, Paul Cohran, Alicia Matthews, Ashley Matthews; mother Lillie S. Wilson of Carrollton Ga; sister and brother-in-law: Jean and Kevin Fanelty of Dallas Ga; two brothers and sisters-in-laws: Randall and Mary Ellen Wilson of Carrollton Ga, Eddie and Janet Wilson of Villa Rica Ga; many other beloved family member and friends.

 

Mrs. Matthews is preceded in death by her husband, Paul W. Matthews who passed March 11, 2008 and her father, John Wilson.

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Jane Matthews will be held at the Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday October 16, 2008 at 4:00pm. With Rev. Johnny Bone and Rev. Doug Weaver officiating, Eulogy will be read by Alicia Sharpton. Interment will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery in Dallas Ga.

 

Mrs. Matthews will remain at Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Wednesday October 15, 2008 from 5:00pm-9:00pm.

 

Pallbearers are asked to meet at the Funeral Home Thursday by 3:15pm, they include: Daren Matthews, John Matthews, Jeff Matthews, Ronnie Cohran, Stephen Craddock and Shannon Wilson.
