Mr. Everett Harold Blackston

Mr. Everett Harold Blackston of Clarkdale, age 66, passed away Wednesday September 3, 2008 at his residence.

 

Mr. Balckston was born August 28, 1942 in Paulding County Georgia, the son of the late James Walter Balckston and Marian Camp Blackston. He worked for Bowman Freight Lines from 1969 to 1990 and with Estes Express from July 30, 1990 until present.

 

Mr. Blackston is survived by Three sisters and brothers-in-law, Virginia and Hulon Daniell of Lithia Springs Ga, Hilda and Dennis White of Austell Ga, and Wanda and Gene Roper of Temple Ga. One Brother, Mr. Jerry Blackston of Winston Ga. Many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews.

 

Funeral Services for Mr. Blackston will be held in Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home Chapel Friday September 5, 2008 at 2:00pm with the Rev. Hershel Tibbitts officiating. Music will be preformed by Lois Blackston. Interment will follow at Narroway Baptist Church Cemetery.

 

Mr. Blackston will remain at Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home where his family will receive friends Thursday September 4, 2008 from 5:00-8:00pm.

 

Pallbearers are asked to assemble at the funeral home on Friday September 5, 2008 by 1:00pm and they include Jerry Blackston, Hulon Daniell, Dennis White, Harold Lankford, Alfred Tibbitts, and Barry Cheek.
