Clark Funeral Home Posted July 27, 2008 Report Share Posted July 27, 2008 Tom Newsome, age 68, of Aragon, passed away on July 27, 2008. He was born on October 16, 1939. He was preceded in death by his father, Hubert Newsome. Mr. Newsome was a Navy veteran and an automotive mechanic. Surviving are his mother, Rubye Kline of Powder Springs; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara & Rick Cleveland of Aragon, GA; daughters, Charlotte Powers of Hiram and Cindy A. Thornberry of Gillette, Wyoming; brother and sister-in-law, Gene & Edith Collins of Appling, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth & Rev. Tommy Paine of Powder Springs; grandchildren, Ashley Newsome, Christy Gunter, Sarah Thornberry and Chad Thornberry; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. from Bethany Christian Church Cemetery in Dallas, GA, with Rev. Tommy Paine officiating. Family will receive friends on Monday, July 28, 2008 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Link to post Share on other sites
