Jack Herbert Crabbe, age 79, of Dallas, passed away on Friday, June 13, 2008. He was born on March 10, 1929 in Cartersville, GA to the late Oscar & Gertrude Crabbe. Mr. Crabbe was a brick mason and a charter member of Pine Grove Baptist Church in Powder Springs.

 

Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Alma Crabbe of Dallas; son and daughter-in-law, Randy & Mary Crabbe of Dallas; daughter and son-in-law, Deborah & Stanley Lively of Hiram; brothers and sisters-in-law, Homer Crabbe of Powder Springs, Delanor & Virginia Crabbe of Dallas, Billy & Pat Crabbe of Powder Springs, Samuel & Bobbie Crabbe of Powder Springs; sisters and brother-in-law, Eloise Stewart of Calhoun, GA and Faye & Earl Bozeman of Dallas; grandchildren Rodney Landers, Tyson & Lori Crabbe and Trent Crabbe; great-grandchild Macie Grace Crabbe; numerous nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 16, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Pine Grove Baptist Church in Powder Springs, GA, with Rev. Darrell Hunter, Rev. Carl Kinsey and Mr. Kenny Carroll officiating. He will lie-in-state at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the service time. The interment will follow in Powder Springs Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 14, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Sunday, June 15, 2008 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
