Mrs. Willie Sloan Pearce, age 85, of Dallas, Ga, departed for Heaven Saturday, May 10, 2008 at Wellstar Community Hospice.

 

Born January 2, 1923, she dedicated much of her life to feeding and clothing those in her community, as well as the under-privileged in the Appalachian Mountains of Kentucky and West Virginia.

 

Mrs. Pearce is survived by: Three Daughters: Rev. & Mrs. Wayne (Brenda) Landmon of Dallas, Ga, Mr. & Mrs. Robert (Sherry) Webb of Dallas, Ga, Rev. & Mrs. Robert (Lynn) Mays of Jackson, Ga; Twelve Grandchildren: Tim & Penny Landmon, Waymon & Krista Landmon, Amirose, Chris, and Andrea Webb, Casey, Ben, and Anna Yekalis, Andy Webb, and Joseph Mays; Four Great Grandchildren: Brittney, Tiffany, Tyler and Ryan Landmon. Long time friend and sister in law Mrs. Jack (Rose) Key of Blue Ridge, Ga. many Nieces and Nephews.

 

She is preceded in death by her Husband, Rev. Raymond Henry Pearce and her Parents: Joseph Sloan and Bertha (Williams) Sloan.

 

Services will be held at Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home Chapel Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at 2:00PM, Officiated by Rev. Winfred Casey and Rev. Tim Landmon. Interment immediately following service at Paulding Memorial Gardens.

 

 

Family will receive friends at Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home Tuesday May 13, 2008 from 11:00AM til time of Service.
