Lucy Virginia Black age 83 of Powder Springs, passed away on Friday, March 28, 2008. She was born December 30, 1924 in Montgomery, Al., to the late Roger C. Daniel and Lucy Voltz Daniel. Ms. Black was a Teacher in Huntsville, Al., and a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.

 

Survived by Son Dan and his wife Pam Black, Dallas, Ga., Brother Walter and his wife Kay Daniel, Grady, Al. 2 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

 

Graveside Services will be held on Monday, March 31, 2008 at 11:00am from Powder Springs Memorial Gardens with Dr. Tim Walker officiating. The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Sunday, March 30, 2008 from 5-8pm.
