Mrs. Thelma Lee (Green) Roberts age 81, passed away Monday, March 24, 2008 in Wellstar Cobb Hospital.

 

Born July 13, 1926, She was the daughter of the late Newton Lee Brasco Green and Lulua Etta Smallwood.

 

Survivors include Four Daughters: Martha (William) Rich of Dallas, Ga, Linda Bullock and Roger Matthews of Powder Springs, Ga. Wendy (Ray) Crider of Powder Springs, Ga. Ann (Kenny) Jones of Temple, Ga; Two sons: Owen Roberts of Carrollton, Ga, Doyle Roberts of Temple, Ga: Fifteen Grandchildren and Fifteen Great Grandchildren; One Brother: Elmer Lee Green of Taylorsville Ga, Many Nieces and Nephews.

 

In addition to her parents Mrs. Roberts is preceded in death by her husband William Bartow Roberts (W.B.) passed away December 4, 1996. One son James Roberts and grandson William Rich, Three sisters: Elner McBurnett, Gertrude Still, and Velma Mae Fennell: One Brother, Beverly Mallette.

 

The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 26 from 5:00pm-9:00pm at Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, March 27 at 2:00pm in White Oak Springs Baptist Church where Mrs. Roberts will lie-in-state from 1:00pm-2:00pm. Rev. Chris Simpson and Rev. Jeff Byrd officiating with interment to follow in the Church Cemetery.

 

Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for Mrs. Thelma Lee Roberts.

We will miss Sister Thelma's beautiful smile and kind words. She was a joy to be around and always was talking about her kids and grandkids. She will be missed greatly but we have confidence that she has no more sickness or pain. God bless her family.
