jemmett Posted March 16, 2008 Report Share Posted March 16, 2008 Ms. Mittie Lee Nix, age 93 of Powder Springs died Friday 3-14-08. Funeral Services will be held Monday 3-17-08 at 11:00 am, Instate 10:00 am at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Hiram with Pastor Quinn Evans officiating. Entombment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery. The Family will recieve visitors on Sunday from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Bellamy Funeral Home - Hiram Ms Nix was a longtime member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and enjoyed singing and playing the Guitar, Banjo, Mandolin and Piano. She attended the Columbus Conservatory of Music in Columbus, Ga. and played piano for churches for many years. She is survived by Four Daughters: Linda Nix of Lithia Springs, Carolyn Ginny Hutchins of Douglasville, Renee Nix of Lithia Springs and Kelly Eloise Perojo of Powder Springs. One Son: Henry Grady (Chico) Nix of Lithia Springs. Also Four Grandchildren, Ten Great- Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews. Bellamy Funeral Home- Hiram is in charge of Arrangements.
