Mrs. Patricia Summerour Watson age 95, of Dallas, Georgia passed away February 27, 2008 at Paulding Hospital surrounded by her family.

 

She was born February 28, 1912 in Marietta, Georgia, daughter of the late Mr. B. N. Summerour and the late Mrs. Amanda Mathews Summerour.

 

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Joe S. Watson, Sr., Sister Jamie Lee Cochran and Brother John Marshall Summerour.

 

She was a graduate of Georgia State College for Women (GSCW) She retired from the Paulding County School System after teaching for 33 years. Mrs. Watson was a member of the First Methodist Church of Dallas.

 

Survivors include her son and daughter in law Joe Sewell Watson Jr. and Patricia Watson, of Dallas Ga; grandchildren, Joseph S. Watson, III and Joshua E. Watson, both of Dallas Ga, Donna and Keith Oldham of Kennesaw Ga and Susan and Jack Browning of Waco. Three Great Grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

 

Family will recieve friends Thursday February 28, 2008 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at Jeff Eberhart funeral Home.

 

Funeral Services will be conducted on February 29, 2008 at 3:30 PM at the First United Methodist Church of Dallas with Rev. Steve Schofield officiating.

 

Interment followed in Dallas Memory Gardens, Pallbearers are, Wayne Watson, Phillip Watson, Bill Watson III, Bobby Watson, John Summerour Jack Browning, Keith Oldham. Honorary pallbearers were Charles Canning, Dean Hardy, Bill Watson, Jr., Bob Watson.

 

 

Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home was in charge of Arrangements.
