Mrs. Shirley Joan Thomas, passed away Tuesday February 26, 2008, age 72, at Wellstar Paulding Hospital in Dallas, Ga. A homemaker, she was born to the late Dan Coats and Georgia Faye Newberry.

 

Mrs. Thomas is survived by her Husband, Joseph W. Thomas of Dallas, Ga; Six Daughters, Theresa (Tom) Leahy of Woodstock, Ga, Marcie (Raymond) Wittig of Honor, Mi, Shelia (Terry) Turner of Elmira, NY, Tracy (Tom) Berger of Jensen Beach, Fla, Linda Thomas Rogers of Dallas, Ga , Debra ( Bobby) Price of Ft. Pierce, Fla; Four Sons; Roger Thomas of Gibraltar, Mi, Micheal Thomas of Buford, Ga, Kelly (Charleen) Thomas of Buford, Ga, Larry Thomas of Dallas, Ga, two Sisters, Linda Robinson of Houston, Tx, Darlene Bode of Houston, Tx, Three brothers; Vance Coats of Panama City, Fla, Ronald Dirks of Rio Grand Valley, Tx, Alfred Dirks of Westico, Tx., Thirty-eight grandchildren, forty two Great Grandchildren, Also many nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral Service will be held at Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home Chapel, Friday February 29, 2008 at 3:00pm with Deacon Stephen Bek officiating.

 

Family will receive friends Thursday February 28, 2008 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at the funeral home.
