Jeanette Johnson, age 65, of Austell, passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2008. She was born in Atlanta, on March 26, 1942, and was preceded in death by her parents, William Harland Cochran and Arla Irene Cochran.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, James T. Johnson of Austell; son & daughter-in-law, Scott Johnson & wife Sandra of Hiram; daughter & son-in-law, Nancy Thompson & husband Paul of Douglasville; brothers & sisters-in-law, Donnie Cochran of Kingston, Richard Cochran & wife Michelle of Douglasville, and Dennis Cochran & wife Charlene of Mableton; sisters & brothers-in-law, Cathy Newton & husband Terrell of Douglasville, and Helen Briscoe & husband John of Franklin; grandchildren, Jason Johnson, Danielle Johnson, April Johnson, Cody Thompson and Wyatt Thompson; great-grandchild, Brayden Johnson; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 13, 2008, at 2:00pm, from Clark Funeral Home, with Pastor Douglas Garvin officiating. Interment will follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Donnie Cochran, Richard Cochran, Dennis Cochran, Jason Johnson, Paul Thompson and Cody Thompson will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 5:00pm until 8:00pm.
