Helen Glenda Elsberry Baxter Lawrence, age 83, of Dallas, Georgia, passed away Saturday evening, November 17, 2007,at the Paulding County Nursing Unit in Dallas where she had resided for several years.

 

Mrs. Lawrence is survived by her children; Linda Marie Baxter Donaldson (Randy Bowman), son, John Elmer Baxter; grandchildren, Joe Baxter, John Baxter, Tammy (Russell) Fincham, Shiloh (Jorge) Pino; great grandchildren, Danielle Fincham and Cole Fincham; sister, Ruth Daniels and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth (Joann) Thurmond; several nieces and nephews.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rayford and Gertie (Craton) Elsberry; her husband, Elmer Junior Baxter, who passed away December 14, 1982; her husband, Amos L. Lawrence who passed October 14, 1999 and her brother Rev. Robert Elsberry.

 

Funeral Services were conducted November 20, 2007 from Benson Funeral Home at 4:00 PM with Rev. James Cook officiating. Interment Dallas City Cemetery.
