Mrs. Loma “Gaynell” Foster, age 91, of Northport, Alabama, formerly of Marietta, passed away Saturday, February 28, 2004. She was born December 9, 1912. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. R. Foster and 2 grandchildren, Jimmy and Bradley Bailey, sisters, Zelma Hendrix, Gladys White and Juanita Chappell.

Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Felice and Jim Whigham of Northport, Al; a son, Lynn Foster of Northport, Al; Grandchildren, Donna and Don Kurland of Marietta and Darlene Manley of Northport, Al; Great-grandchildren, Carla and David Ruff of Dallas, Ga. and Justin Mullins of Northport, Al; 3 Great Great Grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 2, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. from Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta with Reverend Ken Cheek officiating. The family will receive friends Monday, March 1 from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home in Hiram. The pallbearers will be Don Kurland, Doug Webster, David Ruff, Kenneth Ruff, Justin Mullins and Nicholas Kurland. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, Georgia in charge of arrangements.
