Clark Funeral Home Posted September 7, 2007 Report Share Posted September 7, 2007 Lois M. Phillips, age 83, of Dallas, passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2007. The daughter of the late John Harley McGaha and the late Delia Jane McGaha, she was born December 7, 1923. Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by her husband John T. Phillips and son Johnny Phillips. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her sons & daughters-in-law, James Melvin Phillips & wife Kim of Emerson and Joe Daniel Phillips & wife Peggy of Luthersville; daughters & son-in-law, Darlene Baggett & David Dodd of Dallas, Betty Taylor & husband William of Whitesburg, Dee Abernathy of Lithia Springs, and Connie Teems of Douglasville; sister, Wilma Nash of Lawrenceville; sixteen grandchildren; and forty great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 9, 2007, at 2:00pm, from Clark Funeral Home, with Dr. Johnny Turner officiating. Interment will follow in Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 4:00pm until 8:00pm. Clark Funeral Home, Hiram, GA, is in charge of the arrangements. www.samclarkfuneralhome.com.
