Mrs. Nelia Freeman, age 83, of Dallas

 

Mrs. Nelia Freeman, age 83, of Dallas, Ga. passed away August 17, 2007 at Wellstar Paulding Nursing Center.

 

She was born December 30, 1923 to the late Georgia Washington Jones and Roma B. Strickland. She was of the baptist faith.

 

Mrs. Freeman is survived by her brothers: Vernon Jones, John Jones and Georgia Jones, Jr. Sisters: Maebell Cole, Cleo McMichen, Roma Lee Hulsey, Reba Jenkins and Beatrice

Ragsdale. Nephew: Douglas Cole and several nieces and nephews also survive.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Gus Champion and also her parents:

George Washington Jones and Roma B. Strickland.

 

A Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, August 19, 2007 at 3PM at the Dallas City Cemetery with the Rev. Douglas Weaver officiating. Special singing was provided by

Willard Walker.
