Rena E. Parker, age 83, of Dallas, passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2007. Born October 12, 1923, in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Herman Charles Prast and the late Minnie Prast.

Besides her parents, Mrs. Parker was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Raymond Parker. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her sons & daughters-in-law, Clifford H. & Patricia D. Parker of Dallas, Richard W. & Rose Parker of Dallas, and Jeffrey T. Parker of Dallas; daughter & son-in-law, Linda J. & Stephen Blaylock of Dallas; grandchildren, Robert Parker, Brian Parker, Tim Parker, Michelle Newborn and Douglas Alexander; and great-grandchildren, Heather Parker, Cody Newborn, Emily Parker, and Delaney Alexander.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 1, 2007, at 11:00am, from Clark Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Curtis Turner officiating.

Interment will follow in Paulding Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00pm until 8:00pm.
