Mr. Albert Lanz, Jr., age 83, of Dallas, formerly of Niverville, NY

 

Mr. Albert Lanz, Jr., age 83, of Dallas, formerly of Niverville, NY passed away April 10, 2007. He was born in Ellington, CT, the son of the late Albert Lanz and Rose Marti Lanz. Mr. Lanz was senior inspector with the Dept. of Agriculture, NY State and a member of the Apostalic Christian Church. He was also a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, The Knights Templer, Valatie Lodge #362, F&AM and Past Master Unit of Cyprus Temple A.A.O.N.M.S. and York Rite.

 

He is survived by his wife, Florence Lanz of Dallas, Ga; 1 son, Ed Lanz of Dallas, Ga., 1 daughter, Laurie Lanz of Niverville, NY; 1 granddaughter; Melissa Lanz of Hiram, Ga., 1 brother, Kerwin Lanz of Washington, Il. and 4 sisters, Anna May and John Getz of Morton, Il. Velda and George Foxe of Carol Stream, Il. Harriet and Herbert Clarke of Rockville, Ct. and Lois and Bernard Gebler of Plantation, Fl.

 

Services were held Tuesday April 17th at 2:00 p.m., from the chapel of Eberhart Funeral Home with Minister Tom Waldbster officiating.
