Mr. Ted Hendon, age 79, of Dallas

 

Mr. Ted Hendon, age 79, of Dallas, Georgia passed away on April 27, 2007 at Wellstar Cobb Hospital. He was born in Etowah County, Alabama on Feb. 21, 1928, the son of the late Joseph and Hassie Hendon. He was a computer programmer and a member of Macland Road Church of Christ.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ira, Dennis and Robert Hendon and sisters,

Elma Mignon and Audrey Estes.

 

Surviving are his wife, Betty Trantham Hendon of Dallas; daughters and son-in-law, Rhonda and David Hilburn of Kennesaw and Regina Martin of Marietta; brother and sister-in-law, Joel and Nadine Hendon of Piedmont, Alabama ; sister, Gail Cooper of Piedmont, Alabama and 4 Grandchildren.

 

Funeral Services were held on Monday, April 30, 2007 at 1PM from Macland Road Church of Christ with Minister Phillip Satterfield officiating. Interment followed in Cheatham Hill Memorial Park.

 

Brian Cooper, Barry Cooper, Brent Cooper, Tom Clark, Billy Pigg and Rick Shumpert served as pall bearers.
