Mrs. Clara L. Parson, age 86, 0f Dallas

 

Mrs. Clara L. Parson, age 86, 0f Dallas, Georgia passed away April 29, 2007 at Wellstar Community Hospice. She was born on May 12, 1920 in Paulding County, the daughter of the late Hiram Norton and Ethel Fields Norton. She had retired from Sonoco Products . She was a member of New Georgia Baptist Church.

 

Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Newty Parson.

 

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Eileen Parson of Austell; daughters and sons-in law, Judy and Ray Houston of Kennesaw and Dianne and Walter Croft of Hiram; 6 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Lessel Coelho of Cranston, Rhode Island.

 

Funeral Services were held on Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at 2pm from Eberhart Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Hollis officiating. Music rendered by Becky Bearden. Interment followed in New Georgia Baptist Church Cemetery.

 

Steve Parson, Willie Cantrell, Mark Drake, Keith Lawrence, Tom McDaniel and Tommy Woods served as pallbearers.

 

Eberhart Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
