Funeral Director Posted May 21, 2007 Report Share Posted May 21, 2007 Mrs. Ilona Brawner, age 64, of Kennesaw Mrs. Ilona Brawner, age 64, of Kennesaw passed away May 14, 2007 at her residence. She was born on July 28, 1942 in Atlanta, Ga., the daughter of the last Floyd and Katherine Wright. Mrs. Brawner was a homemaker and member of the New Canaan Baptist Church. She is survived by 3 sons: James Kenneth Brawner of Cartersville, Ga , Jeffrey Franklin Brawner of Atlanta, Ga. and Harold Curtis Brawner of Dallas, Ga. 1 Daughter: Kathy Lynn Schroath of Dallas, Ga.; Mother: Katherine Spivey Wright 4 Grandchildren & 2 Great Grandchildren 1 Brother: Frankie Wright of Buchanan, Ga She is preceded in death by her husband, Rev Kenneth "Ken" Brawner who passed away on April 9, 2004 and her father; Floyd Wright Services were held at 10AM, Friday, May 18, 2007 at the New Canaan Baptist Church with Rev. James Cook officiating: Eulogies were given by her sons, James Kenneth and Harold Curtis Brawner. Pianist, Margaret Christian rendered the music. Interment: Paulding Memorial Gardens Rick Wadsworth, Joseph Tumlin, Phillip Pittman, Randy Schroath, Doug Hughes, Bob Pollard served as pall bearers.
