Dennis Lamar Flemister, age 52, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2007. He was born November 7, 1954, in Ferndale, Michigan, the son of the late Alfred Franklin Flemister, Jr. and the late Estelle Katheryn Whittaker Flemister. Mr. Flemister was a member of Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church. He was a warehouse manager for Colonial Cartage Corporation.

Survivors include his daughters & son-in-law, Mechelle & Mitchell Weddington of Rockmart and Denise Flemister of Dallas; brother, Lavoyd Pete of Buchanan; sister & brothers-in-law, Glenice Gay of Dallas, Rochelle & Henry Strong of New York and Carla & Val Clendenon of Canton; grandchildren, Anaya McKenzie and Jaden Jackson; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held from Paulding Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, May 2, 2007, at 4:30pm, with Reverend Paul Flemister officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2:00pm until 4:00pm.

Dennis was a great man. I had the privilege of working with Dennis since about 1992. He was always a lot of fun to be around, even if he wasn't having a good day he would always try & cheer everyone else up. He will definitely be missed by his family at Atlanta Bonded Warehouse and Colonial Cartage Corp. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. God Bless you all and I pray that God will give you the peace that passes understanding and the strength that you need to endure the days ahead. RIP Dennis- we will never forget you!
