Joy Susan Smith, age 58 of Hiram, passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2007. She was born in Austell, Georgia on August 15, 1948, daughter of the late Owen Jewell Croker and Audie Mae Finch Croker also preceded in death by Sister Anne Croker Netzinger. Mrs. Smith was employed by Waffle House as a waitress for over 30 years and a member of South Cobb Church of Christ.

 

Survived by Husband Lee Smith, Hiram,Ga , Sons Christopher Scott and wife Sally Kirby, Tallapoosa, Ga, Michael Jonathan and wife Lacey Smith, Hiram, Ga. Daughters Julie Evelyn Clay and husband Phillip Keys, Carrollton,Ga. Melanie Croker and husband Alan English, Bremen, Ga. Brothers Franklin R. and wife Carolyn Croker, Marietta, Ga. William Neal and wife Henrietta Croker, Mabelton, Ga. Sisters Ruby Croker Clay, Dallas, Ga. Audrey Croker and husband Eddie Aguilar, San Salvador, El Salvador. Marilyn Croker and husband Loran Crowe, Dallas, Ga. Grandchildren Zachary Jordan Keys, Gregory Austin Keys, Whitney Sarah Rayamn Keys, Katrin Ann English, Ally Rebecca English. 21 Nieces and nephews.

 

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, April 21, 2007 at 11:00 am from South Cobb Church of Christ. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:30am till service time.

 

The family request in lieu of flowers contributions be made in her memory to New Harmony Primative Baptist Church Cemetery Fund
