Ethel Martha Chandler, age 73, of Marietta, passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2004. She was born on July 2, 1931 in Norristown, PA to the late John and Marie Shrader. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Douglas F. Chandler Sr.; sons and daughters-in-law, Doug Jr. and Debbie Chandler of Woodstock and Beve and Joan Chandler of Villa Rica; a daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Darrell Shellnut of Powder Springs; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill Shrader of Norristown, PA, Carl and Dot Shrader of Norristown, PA and Wilford and Mary Shrader of Pennsylvania; sisters and brothers-in-law, Nancy Burdge of Baltimore, Maryland, Linda and Dan Reilly of Norristown, PA and Faith and Ken of Norristown, PA; grandchildren, Jason Chandler, Darrell Shellnut Jr., LeAnn Shellnut, Jason Morgan, Carrly Ftacek and Dylan Ftacek; a great-grandchild, Hunter Boyd; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 11, 2004 at 3:00 p.m. from Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA with Chaplain Brian S. Beaty officiating. The interment will follow in Georgia Memorial Park in Marietta. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram in charge of arrangements.
