Bette Evett Brown, age 82, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2018. She was born on May 8, 1935, in Aragon, GA, to the late Grady & Sarah Ellen Coats Evett, and was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Brown, brother, Harold Evett, sister, Sandra Williams and grandson, Trey Brown. Mrs. Brown retired from Southwire after 25 years of service as an accounting clerk and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Dallas.
Survivors include her son, Don & Lisa Brown of Hiram, GA; daughter, Vikki Brown Garmon of Dallas; brother, Mark & Angela Evett of Dallas, GA; grandchildren, Brittany Brown of Atlanta, GA, Nicole & Bo King of Dallas, GA, Bridgett & Derrick Eskew of Dallas, GA, and Zack & Dani Garmon of Dallas, GA; great-grandchildren, Jayden Reaid of Dallas, GA, Austin Boatright of Dallas, GA, Kileigh Eskew of Dallas, GA, and Grady Eskew of Dallas, GA; and great-great grandchild, Rye Stephens of Dallas, GA.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018, at 3 PM, from Dallas Memory Gardens, with Mr. Jim Tully officiating. Wes Evett, Zack Garmon, Austin Boatright, Ryan Carey, David Ensey and David Atcheson will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, March 10, 2018, from 12:30 PM until 2:30 PM.
